This is a beautiful property situated in the lovely town of Auburn. The property itself is walking distance to the main street of Auburn and a short drive from the other towns of the Clare valley, making it an excellent base from which to explore. The accommodation is beautiful, spacious and clean. There is a large bed, tv (with foxtel), dining table, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Breakfast provisions were substantial for a continental breakfast including a variety of cereals, bread, jam, milk, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee.
There was also a complimentary bottle of (very good) wine, a decanter of port, chocolates on our pillows and biscuits to have with our tea/coffee. The room was heated and there was an umbrella for use in case of rainy weather. The bathroom was impressive, with a double shower, double vanity and a selection of toiletries provided. There is off street parking, a lovely deck outside and a swimming pool.
Overall a fantastic place to stay.
Auburn itself is a small town with a quiet, country feel. The Riesling Trail runs through the town and is a great way to explore the Clare Valley. It is a truly beautiful place and well worth a visit.
