Room was very clean and tidy but showing its age. Bathroom had been renovated but shower was poor and extremely difficult to set the temperature. Room door had recently been replaced but didn't fit well and dragged on the carpet and had to be slammed to close. Friendly and helpful staff, located close to town. Good value - especially if you can get a discount online.
Take your winter clothes if heading to Clare during the cooler months - it can be very fresh. Taminga's Restaurant was excellent with the best buffet I've seen. Great value and kid friendly. Visitor Info Centre doesn't open until 10. 00am on Sunday's meaning we had to wait to find out what was available.
